With excellent I.T. skills and have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (City & Guilds 4351-01). Key Achievements


     •     Achieved 100% Customer Satisfaction Scores on 5 Refits on new and existing branches with and average score of 92.5% on all projects completed for Ulster Bank. This assisted MACE secure more project management work from Ulster Bank.  

     •     Designed and implemented a KPI scoring system for Royal Bank of Scotland to score the nominated suppliers on the BIMP project. This resulted in a significant increase in supplier performance within a 6-month period.

     •     Organised, planned and Project Managed a re-fit for a Kwik Save store using second hand shelving saving Kwik Save £40,000 cost on the re-fit. This resulted in a significant increase in JCM’s turnover with the expansion of the secondhand shelving business.

     •     Organised, Planned & Implemented a successful store closure for Somerfield with only 4 days preparation time (should receive 6 weeks). I closed the store on time and handed the building to the developer on time which resulted in the continued store closure business for JCM.

     •     Reduced production scrap by 21% within the PVD / Monitor Check department at Fujitsu after implementing a weekly handling check on all production equipment and this resulted in a saving of £3.4 million a year.

     •     Produced all standard operation documentation (SOP) for the brake pad manufacturing whilst working at BBA Friction.

     •     Improved production output by 11% in 12 months without increasing labour for BBA Friction. This was archived through the application of manufacturing processes.

     •     Successfully planned and Implemented the training of the first 90 operators for the new monitor production lines at Samsung. Ensured that the production lines started on time and delivered all the targets on budget and ahead of schedule.

     •     Organised, planned and Implemented successfully a store closure programme of 126 stores for Somerfield with only 3 weeks preparation time and all the stores had to be completed within a 4 week window. Had to plan in all the store surveys , complete asset documents, arrange for all the third party suppliers to collect all their equipment all without the store staff being aware of the store closure programme

Nifco UK

2012 - Present    Project Engineer

Project Engineer responsible for the introduction of new Nissan plastic automotive Tier 1 components into Nifco and responsible for engineering changers of existing tools already in production. Responsible for communicating with all Nissan project members and injection tool manufactures on the project progress, tool status, and all other project issues.

Chair internal project meetings to ensure the trial parts are available for the Nissan trial build dates and the Nissan SOP date. Complete and submit the ANPQP (Alliance New Product Quality Procedure) documentation to Nissan for approval in accordance with the ANPQP timeline. Hold weekly project review meetings with the Nissan project team and update them on the project progress.Control costs to ensure that the new product is introduced into production within the assigned project budget.

Daifuku

2011 - 2012    Site Manager (Contracting)

Site Manager on the new Nissan NEPE Battery Plant managing the 5 Daifuku contractors installing the new £14 million process equipment system, working closely with the Nissan production and facility engineers on the project. Attend daily coordination meeting with main contractor and the client to coordinate our onsite works with the other contractors working on site and also report on installation progress to the Project client. Monitor and control all installation works of the automatic cranes, automatic conveyor systems and automatic robots for the transportation of the product within the production area and within the Class 1000 Cleanroom production environment. Monitor and control all works on site of Daifuku’s subcontractor to ensure they are working safely and installation is as per agreed drawings and to Nissan quality standards. Assist the Project Manager with the Project Management side of the installation by ensuring the sub-contractors stay within the agreed master programme. Main contact on site for the Daifuku sub-contractors, installation issues, deliveries, permits and all other daily construction / installation issues. Programme daily works for the sub-contractors to keep on critical path for the installation project as agreed with the client.

2009 - 2011    Project Manager (Veolia Water Three Valleys)

Project managed the installation of new water mains on the Three Valleys Water project. This involved being responsible for the project from the project initiation meeting through the design stage and construction stage to completion and handover back to the client. This involved monitoring and controlling the cost, quality & programme during the mains renewal works to ensure the contractor stays within the agreed budget, agreed programme. Carry out site visits to ensure health & safety on site and installation quality is keep to agreed standards. Organised and chaired weekly meeting with the contractor and monthly meetings with the client’s stakeholders to update on current performance and to communicate issues to the client to ensure smooth running of the mains renewal projects. I also assisted the Senior Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the mains renewal team and covered whist on holiday by taking on extra reasonability dealing with Directors Office complaints, Call centre issues & recording of utility strikes by the mains renewal contractors and reporting this information at the monthly DIMAC contract review meetings. I worked away from home during the week staying in a company flat in Watford (London).

2006 - 2009   Project Manager (Ulster Bank)

Worked as a Project Manager on the Ulster Bank programme which involved managing the refurbishment of new & existing Ulster Bank branches under the BIMP (Branch Improvement and Maintenance Programme), new Corporate Business Centre’s on the CBC programme and new Cash Counting Centre’s projects from conception through to handover back to the client. Managed 3-4 projects at a time with the projects at different stages of the process, the projects ranged from £500,000 for a small branch up to £2,500,000 for a large high street branch. This work involved me living away from home in a company flat in Belfast during the week and flying to and from Ireland on a weekly basis.

    The process included the following:

               1. Organise and chair the initial project scope meeting with the branch and the stakeholders

               2.      Designing the new layout with the assistance of the CAD team ensuring that all of the clients requests where included in the final design.

               3.      Prepare and formulating the proposed fixed project cost with the contractor.

               4.      Prepare and present the Stage 1 & 2 project reports to the client and ensure client sign off of the project.

               5.      Organise and chair the pre-start meeting with the branch and all the stakeholders

               6.      Monitor all works on site by carrying site visits and chairing weekly progress meetings on site with the stakeholders to ensure the project is staying on programme, the health and safety of the site is maintained and that the quality levels are maintained.

               7.      Monitor and control all the cost during the branch works to ensure project stays within agreed budget. If any change is required then ensure client sign off is received before the change happens, and ensure correct paperwork is done to recorded and commutate the change.

               8.      Chair the Practical Completion and Final Handover meetings with the client and ensure all items haven been covered and ensure that the project is handed back to the client defect free.

I was also involved with the KPI and quarterly review meeting with the nominated contractors and the Royal Bank of Scotland Project Manager’s. This involved preparing the quarterly report that was discussed at the review meeting and sent on to the senior management team at Royal Bank of Scotland.
